Credits for College

Credits for College is a program sponsored by Coastline Community College which gives students in grades 9 thru 12 an opportunity to earn college credits while they are in high school. Humanities 130 – History and Appreciation of the Cinema: Historical development of film in America as an art form and as a business will be offered on the Marina High School campus beginning the week of September 13th and ending the week of December 13th. This is not a high school course, nor will it be reflected on the high school transcript. This college course is transferrable to CSU/UC. Humanities 130 is a 3 unit, semester course, to be held on Tuesdays from 3:30 pm – 6:40 pm. Program orientation required prior to official enrollment. Students who have reserved a spot will receive confirmation, room number, and orientation information at the start of the 2010-2011 school year.
