These awards are presented within the unit at the discretion of the Senior Marine Instructor to recognize superior performance, leadership, and participation in the MCJROTC program.

Outstanding Cadet Award

For consistent excellence in academics, leadership, and character.

Student Leadership Award

For cadets who hold an elected student body office.

Officer Leadership Award

For a cadet officer demonstrating exceptional leadership and proficiency.

Noncommissioned Officer Leadership Award

For an NCO showing outstanding discipline, bearing, and leadership ability.

Civic Service Award

For exceptional community service or notable unit participation.

Best Drill Cadet Award

For superior drill performance in manual of arms, bearing, and appearance.

Distinguished Scholastic Achievement Award

For maintaining an “A” average or being in the top 10% of the class.

Flight Academy Pilot Program Ribbon

For completion of the CNAF Navy & Marine Corps JROTC Flight Academy.

Arts & Academics Ribbon

For participation in interscholastic academic or artistic competition.

Distinguished Military Training Ribbon

For outstanding proficiency in all facets of the MCJROTC program.

Physical Achievement Ribbon

For meeting or exceeding minimum PFT standards by grade level.

National Raider Ribbon

Raider Team Ribbon 

For participation in local or national-level Raider competitions.

Superior Marksman Ribbon

For achieving a 270+ score in Postal Matches or placing in regional/national competition.

Athletic Participation Ribbon

For participation in interscholastic athletics.

Longevity & Fidelity Ribbon

For two or more successful years in MCJROTC (LE I–II completed).

Distinguished Conduct Ribbon

For an entire year free of disciplinary action or demerits.

Best Drill Squad Ribbon

For being part of the unit’s best drill squad.

Color Guard Ribbon

For service as a member of the unit Color Guard.

Drill Team Ribbon

For participation in drill team competition.

Cyber Patriot Ribbon

For participation in the Cyber Patriot competition team.

Band/Drum & Bugle Team Ribbon

For performance with the school’s band or bugle corps.

Rifle Team Ribbon

For competition as part of the unit rifle team.

USAA Educational Foundation JLAB Ribbon

For participation in the JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB).
