MHS 2017 FALL FAQ's
SCHEDULE/COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS:
Schedule/Course change petition forms will be available during Registration week. Course Change Petition forms must be signed by a parent and turned in at the front desk by Wed Aug 23rd and be considered based on class availability on a first come first serve basis.   NO COURSE CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER AUG 23RD.  
 
 
 MHS Registration Instructions for 2017-2018:

STEP 1: Data Confirmation 
All parents must log into AERIES SIS Parent Portal https://my.hbuhsd.edu and complete Data Confirmation and print out the Data Confirmation/Emergency Card (and sign it), along with any other necessary forms, for their student prior to coming to In-Person Registration.  AERIES Data Confirmation window is open beginning August 1st, 2017.   Our Career Center will be open each day during August In Person Registration week for those requiring assistance.  Your student will not be able to go through Registration without this!

STEP 2: August In-Person Registration - 
Please bring the signed Data Confirmation/Emergency Card and all other in-person registration forms (downloaded from marinavikings.org website) with you along with any payments necessary. 

Registration Dates: Students MUST attend In-Person registration to complete the registration process. Students will not receive their class schedule and ID card until all required forms have been completed and submitted to the school.  Siblings may register together on the same day.

MONDAY - August 14 -  8am – 12pm -  SENIOR

TUESDAY - August 15 - 8am – 12pm -  JUNIOR

THURSDAY - August 17 - 8am – 12pm -  SOPHOMORE
 
FRIDAY  August 18 -  8am - 12pm - FRESHMAN

The process takes approximately 1-2 hours and is when all students will: Turn in Data Confirmation material, take school picture, get ID, receive your preliminary schedule and Textbooks.  
 
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT DATES:
 
Viking Voyage (Freshman Orientation) - Wednesday, August 23rd, 9am-3pm, Freshmen/Mentor Dance 6pm-8pm in Cafeteria
This is a fun day to learn about the campus & meet classmates!
 
Parent Orientation - Wednesday, August 23rd - 6:30pm-8pm in the Library
 
First Day of School - Wednesday August 30th
