This morning, per instructions from HBPD, Marina High School was placed on lockdown out of an abundance of caution due to a safety concern in the area. Law enforcement acted immediately to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

The situation has been resolved, and the lockdown has now been lifted. All students and staff are safe, and the campus has been cleared by HBPD. Classes have resumed as normal.
