Marina High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps

MCJROTC at Marina High School develops character, leadership, and civic responsibility through structured academics, drill, physical fitness, and service. The program emphasizes personal growth, accountability, teamwork, and respect for others.

MCJROTC instills the values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment while developing leadership and citizenship. The program serves as a character and leadership laboratory — not a recruiting tool.

Program Purpose

The purpose of MCJROTC is to prepare students to be responsible citizens and leaders by fostering discipline, respect, confidence, and service to others. Cadets are challenged to lead themselves first, then contribute positively as members of a team and the broader community.
